  6. Please read this document carefully before installing the software.
  7. By installing and using the software, you agree to be bound by
  8. the terms of this agreement.  If you do not agree to the terms
  9. of the agreement, do not install or use the software.

  11. ManageDesk  license agreement
  12.  
  13. Use of ManageDesk (hereinafter "Software") is contingent on 
  14. your agreement to the following terms:

  16. 1. GRANT OF LICENSE
  17. ManageDesk Software (hereinafter "Author") grants you a imited,
  18. non-exclusive license to use the Software.
  19. The Software is licensed, not sold, to you for use only under the
  20. terms of this Agreement.

  22. You may install the Software on a single computer for evaluation
  23. purposes for a period not to exceed thirty  (30) days; after that time
  24. you must either register this program or delete it from your computer
  25. hard drive. Using this software after the thirty  (30) day evaluation
  26. period, without registering the software is a violation of the terms
  27. of this limited license.

  29. 2. SCOPE OF GRANT
  30. You may not decompile, disassemble or otherwise reverse engineer
  31. the Software, or engage in any other activities to obtain underlying
  32. information that is not visible to the user in connection with normal
  33. use of the Software. You may not modify, rent, or resell for profit this
  34. software, or create derivative works based upon this software. You
  35. may not publicize or distribute any registration code algorithms,
  36. information, or registration codes used by this software without
  37. permission from the Author.
  38. In no event shall the Author's liability exceed the purchase price
  39. of the Software.

  41. 3. COPYRIGHT
  42. This Software is protected by copyright laws and international
  43. copyright treaties, as well as other intellectual property laws and treaties.

  45. 4. DISTRIBUTION
  46. The SOFTWARE may be freely distributed on online services,
  47. bulletin boards, or other electronic media provided that it is not
  48. modified and the original archive remains intact with all accompanying
  49. files, and provided that no fee is charged. This software may not be
  50. distributed on CD-ROM, disk, or other physical media for a fee
  51. without the permission of the Author.

  53. 5. TERMINATION
  54. The license will terminate automatically and the software unregistered
  55. if you fail to comply with any of the above terms and conditions.

  57. The license may be terminated by either party at any time and without notice.

  59. 6. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTY
  60. THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF
  61. ANY KIND. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE
  62. LAW, THE AUTHOR FURTHER DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES,
  63. INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF
  64. MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND
  65. NONINFRINGEMENT.  THE ENTIRE RISK ARISING OUT OF THE USE
  66. OR PERFORMANCE OF THE PRODUCT AND DOCUMENTATION
  67. REMAINS WITH RECIPIENT. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED
  68. BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL THE AUTHOR BE LIABLE
  69. FOR ANY CONSEQUENTIAL, INCIDENTAL, DIRECT, INDIRECT,
  70. SPECIAL, PUNITIVE, OR OTHER DAMAGES WHATSOEVER (INCLUDING,
  71. WITHOUT LIMITATION, DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF BUSINESS PROFITS,
